This car has a huge history file including original sales brochures and prices list from Jaguar, it even includes receipts for punctures! A complete restoration was carried out in 1989 by the first owner which included total body, engine and gearbox rebuilds. At this stage the car was back in as new condition and remained with original owner until it was sold in 1999 to Eagle Racing. When it was sold to the next owner Eagle Racing renewed and modernised the braking and suspension systems plus lots of other smaller item ie. radioCD, imobliser,steering, petrol pump and new wire wheels and tyres. The car came to Ireland in 2006 when Ken added a new ignition system, as old ones tend to short out due to the heat, and new cooling system with multi blade fans. |
